what is the most simple way to install new brake pads on a 06 flht. front and rear.

Tdj45, take a look here regarding the basic tools to do calper service, as pulling the pads is part of the process, and while your in there inspect and clean the caliper pistons BEFORE you push them into the bores.

Take it to the dealer, just kidding, I find it easiest for me with the tires still on the bike. Here's the instructions, just follow them and you can't go wrong, 06 brake pads are very simple to replace.

The HD Talking Write up is great. Nicely done.

Do not skip the cleaning the pistons part. I would add a six pack:cheers to the list of tools required.

The front caliper is tight coming out in relationship to the fender. You just have to angle it a little it will clear.
