Brake pads

For me it has to be something I know will fit and work. I would just go with the Genuine OEM. I have had just too many problems using those "Worlds Best" linings.

It would be worth your time to PM Chopper, he's a dealer for brake pads but I've forgotten the brand but if he recommends them that would be good enough for me.

While my OEM pads performed the braking procedure without fault, they did squeal loudly which is what prompted me to look for other options leading me to try the Lyndall pads. If not for the squealling I probably would have gone with the OEM pads. Just saying.......:)

Breaking In New Pads - Harley Davidson Community

Let me edit that I would pay attention to the part at the end where it says to take your time and not overheat your rotors. I never had any problems with warped rotors on my old metric and did this procedure on new pad installs. My new EGC front rotors are warped and bike doesn't have 15k on it yet. So maybe HD's are are more sensitive to this procedure - don't know.
