brake noise on a 2013 streetBob

i have a strange noise when i apply the front brake on my bike, its not a squeal, and the bike has 2,800 miles on it . It sounds like a poker card stuck in the spokes , but only when front brake is applied. ..

This could be the floating rotor making the noise
Your bike should still be under the 2 year warranty take it in to the dealer

True full-floaters move on the carriers, this allows them to self-center in the caliper for reduced brake drag and "float" unimpeded for unrestricted expansion and contraction during repeated thermal cycling. The only serious down side is a bit of rattle that reminds you these are indeed full-floaters.
No you will have to replace the rotor if it is out of spec
