Brake light issue

This morning I have no brake light when I use the handle bar brake. When I apply the foot brake my brake light and my rear turn signals come on.

Check the brake light switch on the bars inside the switch housing. More than likely you will find the plunger for the switch isn't contacting the brake lever for some reason.

I can see that being the handle bar brake lever issue but not the rear turn signal lights coming on with the foot brake use.

You may have two seperate issues, hard to tell from here

Check the wires under the rear fender to see if they are rubbing on the tire or wired incorrectly.

I think you may be right on the wiring under the fender. Everything was OK one day and the next day it was not. My wife and I were riding and hit one of those utility trench jobs going across a street last weekend. It was deep. Wondering if the tire bottomed out and caught a wire.
