Black thunderheaders 2 into 1 smoking

Hello everyone, I just purchased and installed (Myself) a set of Thunder headers 2 into 1 black. While taking it on a test ride, it began smoking. Not increadibly bad but still doesn't seem normal. Any one have a set of these or experienced something similar? Thanks in advance.
Bike is a 06 Road King.
 
Did you wipe your pipes off after the install, or is it maybe just the residue from the powder coating burning off?
