Jack with the collection funds you might could talk the better half into it. The web link didn't seem to say if there was a monetary prize for the winner. Maybe you could get the Redhead to starch yours up a bit and design it into some sort of shape like the guys shown. Maybe even dye it up another color, maybe red ?

You could get Don to go along and tell stories to the judges before hand. Sounds like a shoe in to me.
