Back when I had my 2005 Sportster - I added a small fork bag in front & put everything in there inside a plastic ziplock. With my 2009 Street Glide - too many options, but still in same ziplock...

Wallet, No sense leaving the documents with the bike in case the bike gets stolen.

in a zip lock bag in the battery compartment. Be sure to tape it in.
