Baker DD6

I just had my Baker DD6 transmission installed in my 2006 Road Glide on Friday. I am overjoyed at the way my bike performs. It has never shifted as smooth as it does right now. The noise and vibration has been greatly reduced and the bike seems to be more responsive in the mid gears. This has been one of the best upgrades I have ever made to my bike! I love it!!

Any mods to the motor? Just wondering if a slightly modified (A/C, exhaust, mild cam) is enough to use the 6th gear.

Other than a set of gear driven cams, it has a Thunderheader 2 into 1 pipe with a Power Commander and an RC Airstrike Air cleaner. I have more than enough power for 6th gear.

I have heard that the Baker OD6 might require a stronger engine.
