backfire

I just had the carb adjusted and new plugs I noticed when I got the bike back when I let off the throttle it tends to pop or backfire now is this bad or will it hurt anything?

It is not bad really. That is what you call a lean pop. It means that you needed to richen the mixture screws. Try backing them out half a turn or so.
