Back after 43 years

B72595F9-9165-4125-A72F-E6062D1FE16E.jpeg I recently bought my first Harley, a 2009 Road King FLHR. I will be 71 this November.
It took me two months to get my plate and another month getting a permit to practice.
I love the bike but it’s a trial getting the low speed handling.
I just got past my first 100 miles
Like I said I love my Harley

Welcome from Spokane Washington.
You will get the slow speed balance down, just find an open parking lot and practice. Work on flat areas for slow speed turn around and than move to an area with an incline.
You have any relatives in Spokane?
We have a customer named Dave Giordano

Welcome! Check out the "Ride like a Pro" motorcycle videos. You can see some parts on Youtube. They have a lot of low speed tips, well worth the price.

Welcome aboard from Gulf Coast AL.
As others mentioned the low speed turning will come back, the parking lot idea is good, remember to leave the front brake alone.
Nice scoot!
