Attatching new foot rest pads?

I am having some problem with the new rubber pads on my FXR. After a while of riding they like to work their way off or flip over. I would like to know what Kind of glue is used to hold them on. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if glue is the answere to your problem, but if you must use glue try this stuff

PL Sealants, Adhesives, Construction Adhesives
Loctite also has a good product.

Any hardware store that caters to contractors can recommend a top notch contruction glue in a tube.

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BECAUSE SOME THIS STUFF HARDENS FAST AND ONCE CURED, IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE WITHOUT CAUSING SOME DAMAGE.
