another performance question

my buddy just bought an 08 ultra with vance & hynes slip-ons and a stage 1 kit. While idling the bike, we noticed the left exhaust coming out of the muffler was not hot like the exhaust coming out the right. Both exhaust pipes from the heads were hot.
any info?

So the bike still has the stock header pipes, with the standard crossover?

Normal for the left muffler to be a bit cooler with stock head pipes
