Not sure what you have going on, but don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Remember about the HD Reman program. Check it out on the Harley-Davidson.com website.

The only problem with HD's remanf program is that they will return bike to the exact stock configuration that it came with off the assy line? Not sure why that is (EPA) ?? But otherwise a pretty cost effective solution. Of course I had to it myself and spend more. HAHAHAH

IMO,
Jim's, Merch and TP are top knotch. S&S motors are very good. RevTech and Ultima are on the low end as far as quality/reliability goes. ORCA motors are for the 1 %ers that must have the fastest scoots on the planet. My opinion is based on what I've read, not what I've ridden.
