77 FXE Breaker point plate

The breaker point plate on my 77 FXE will not come out. Any Ideas that will help are greatly appreciated. To answer some of the easier questions.
1, I have removed the two posts that hold it in.
2, I have removed the wire going to the points and pulled it out of the way out the hole. What have I missed?

Using a flat-blade screwdriver or better yet a round flat end punch, give the plate a tap at the clock points (12, 3, 6, 9) to see if that loosens it. It may be just corroded abit in place. See the manual extract below.
