75/90 vs. 75/140

Hey Glider just a quick question. I know you use spectrol in your trans and it has a weight of 75/140. I have been using Mobile1 75/90 because it's easy to find and I am using Moble1 in my engine. But my question is do you recommend using 75/90 or 75/140 and is there any advantage to it.

I like the 75/140, however there isn't a big difference between them. The harleys are considered severe duty and I use what will stand up better.

I second Glider's comment on severe duty. I am down in the Houston area (well not right now, we just had a bit of a hurricane come through) and the daily temps are close to the century mark. This increases the severity of the environment as far at the bike is concerned. So the 75W-140 is good. Definitely GL-5 whatever the weight.
