2005 Sportster speedometer

I bought a 2005 883 Sportster a few weeks ago. The speedometer quit shortly after so I took it back to the dealer and they replaced the speed sensor and it worked all the way home (about 40 miles). It finally quit raining here so I took it out today and the speedometer never left zero. Anyone have wiring prints for me to follow looking for the problem? If the odometer keeps working and the speedometer quits, does this help solve the problem? Thanks for your help.

You have a electronic speedo. Usually it completely quits. If odometer is still counting miles then more than likely the speedo head which is un-repairable is bad. Is the check engine light on?
Have you discussed your issue with selling dealer?

Thanks for the help. My thinking is the same. That the speedo itself is bad. I will check all the connectors going to it before I replace it. Sorry to hear it's not repairable as that's the way I would have gone. Check engine engine light is NOT on and I checked for codes anyway and no codes either. I sent a message to my salesman but have not heard anything back yet.
