I have a 2003 Road King Classic, yesterday my oil light came on. It was scheduled for a HD visit today and the mechanic informed me that its gonna cost me $3,000-$6000 for repairs. I live in Edmonton, Alberta and my bike has 24,000 miles (not kilometers). 88T, stage one with Reinhardt slip ons. Does anyone have any recommendations on doing repairs as opposed to a warranted job done by HD. Is this a difficult job to do, or should I leave it to the pros? How many parts should be changed?
