2002 Road King NO fuel to injectors

Here is the run down. 2002 Road King Classic, stock except for K&N filter and off brand pipes. And was running near perfect. Decided to install the Dobeck TFI. That's where thing went to POT. No fuel to the plugs, engine turns over. All fuses are good, I pulled and cleaned and double check them with the light. Fuel pump humes when switch turned on. Fuel gauge did stop working though. I have even went so far as to take the tfi off and its still the same no gass. So I reinstall the TFI for now. I all so unplugged all plugs ecms etc, for 24 hours. I did notice no power to the efi fuse and the my security key light stays on longer than normal. The fom still works. Tried reading the flashing codes but to be honest I'm dislecit so that was a bust. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
 
Does the fuel pump hum and then stop or does it continue to hum?
 
Nope no way to check pressure. And yes I can hear the pump turn on and off when I turn the key on. I say 10 seconds maybe. Rough guess.
 
Found it, even thought the pump was coming on it wasn't pumping. And the sending unit just came apart at the same time. Parts on order.
 
Well back to the hair pulling. :nosad The pump pumps, found that the plugs were bad no power getting through to the pump. Had to replace the one on top of the tank. But still no gas to the injectors. Gas in the line. I hear the pump, but I'm thinking it not staying on long enough for pressure to build up. I check the fuel regulator the best I could. Seems ok. What else couls stop the pump before pressure builds up.
 
First thing that comes to mind is you say "gas in the line". How are you checking that. I would pull the line off the induction module, leave connected to the tank and turn on the key for a normal start up. If the pump is working it will shoot gas out the line. Use a catch pan. It should spray gas as long as the key is on I think because of no back pressure. If it isn't then something in the tank ain't quite right accordingly to Harley. Maybe your filter is plugged.

I've got it hitting now but not long enough to stay running, I think I may still have a pump problem will try your idea.
 
well checked it,and its definitely in the tank. Go figure all I did was plug a TFI in and all this happened. Well I have warrenty and its off to Harley and a who know how long await they did :worthy promise to get to it by the 4th. But I'm going to hit them 1st come first serve Saturday morning bright and early. :newsmile040:
