1991 flhs

here's a pic of the 1991 flhs I got. Not sure what the "sport" is, but I love the bike. I wanted an older model that I could work on easily, the hopes are I never have to though...lol just under 50,000 miles.

FLHS "sport" is for the windshield instead of a full fairing. The FLHS later became the Road King. A few problems that a 50,000 mile bike likely didn't have, or got fixed. Nice ride

The FLHS is the civilian version of the police bike of that year. You’ll notice there isn’t a lot of chrome (engine, forks, primary, etc.). Police bikes didn’t get all the flashy chrome options the other bikes got (example pictured below).

Nice bike by the way! Ironically I just picked up a 91 FLHS earlier this year. Got it from my dad who has owned it the past twelve years. Only 21,000 on mine so she’s still got a lot of life left in her! (Pic below)
