09 watch spots?

I know in the past the cam chain tensioners were always on the watch list of things to replace. Is this still an issue with the 09 touring models and are there other similar issues I should know about? Want to be certain I am aware of everything to look for other than normal maintenance. Thanks.

too soon to tell if the new Tensioners in the 07-08-09 will be a problem yet or not

Did they make any changes? ( with the tensioners) If not I guess we can expect the same. Any other isuues on the newer models?

I'm not sure, but don't the 96 in. motors have gear driven cams and no more chain, so no worry about tensioners.

yes they did before 07 they were spring tensioners .. 07 newer use hydraulic.. i cant say on 09 but the 08 are really leaned out and run hot .. and the whining 5th gear

No they are still chain drive

According to my 09 parts manual there is no change for the 09 models.
