All of the new touring bikes have received bigger rubber on the front and rear....except the RKC which retains the same size front tire. Any insights on why? Handling? Or just style?

The rear tire and fender on the RKC have changed.

On the FLHR, both the front and rear tires are larger now.

Guess they messed with perfection!

just remember when you they start going up in tire sizes the price for a replacement tire goes way up....I found that out with the new 200 mm tire on the softail. I cost me 250 dollars to put an avon on the back. but that's only about 40 more bucks that the dunlop.

The MOCO says that the Classic for this year at least will remain true to it's Classical image by refraining to adopt the new tire and wheel. Kind of like Coke did 25 years ago, it you are old enough to remember. All the touring models get the "New" tire size except the Road King Classic which retains the older size. New Coke and Classic Coke, don't you see?
