09 fatboy pipes

I was asked by a friend if the fuel system neede to be re-mapped if he replaced his pipes on his 09 Fatboy. I would think no but I am unsure could somebody offer up some advice?

Short answer no The bike should compensate without changing the air intake then yes These bikes all run lean from the factory a little more fuel is not a bad thing

thanks so if I understand you correctly you can run without re-mapping the ECM but you wont get the performance that you should be getting it re-mapped?

He went and bought a 2 into 1 Vance and Hines, I will wait and see what he decides then see how it works before I do the same but I think I would prefer the Scream'n eagle
