07 Sportster code P0107

So I bought my first HD two weeks ago. A pretty 07 1200R with 5800 miles on it. Today (less than 200 miles later) the engine light came on. Code check indicates P0107 Map sensor open/ low EFI. Has anyone heard of a Map sensor failing at that low a milage? My auto mechanical experience indicates that sometimes Map sensor codes are other problems manifesting themselves as low/ high map indications ( at least on some cars). The (otherwise very nice) $60.00 genuine HD service manual does not give a test spec.( ohm test). Evidently you must buy the HD "electrical manual" for that type of info. Any help that you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. This looks like a great site so I'm sure I will be spending countless hours here. Thanks!
