07 road king stalls at idle after 30 miles

I just bought a 07 FLHRC this past weekend. its the newest bike I have ever owned so I know nothing about fuel injected models. bike runs fine in the morning, after 20 or 30 miles on the freeway going to work when I come to an idle it stalls. I can fire it back up but I have to hold a little throttle to keep it running. if I let it sit for a few minutes it starts and idles just fine. seems like a TPS, or throttle body issue. but im no pro....pre 1948.... maybe

I've done the IAC clean on several bikes (esp. '07s) and it cures the stalling.
I like to jam a rag into the throat of the manifold far enough to catch the stuff that comes out. Not necessary, but then I can see how dirty it was. Cycle the key on/off a time or two.
