07 road king engine cut out on highway

I was riding for about an hour at highway speed. The engine just cut out. All the lights were still on. I tried to start it afew times and nothing. After about 3 or 4 minutes it started up. Haven't had a problem since then. Anyone have the same experince.

When you say nothing, do you mean the engine did not even crank?

You may have a floating piece of trash in your tank obstructing fuel flow... once it gets to the fuel filter it blocks it & is held in place by the pump, until you cut it off & it moves somewhere else... I'd check there, but first also check for "Codes" Good Luck, An intermittent problem is very aggravating to find.

Could be a weak main circuit breaker. Sounds like a thermal problem. When the breaker cools it resets itself and the bike starts again.
