05 softail codes help please

05 softail standard. 88 with motor work what I don't know it's my sons bike and just bought it this year.

These are the code he has. Bike backfires when starting cold.

Both are part numbers not codes. Any engine light?

Why are them coming up when I check the codes???

It's normal, they have the part numbers that come up while checking codes on most all bikes.

Glider and all never mind checked again has no codes BUT after is reads none the pn number comes up. Learn something new everday! no to the light

No but he just left for work and MAN front cylinder had flames shooting out the back when he started it.

Did you check the plug and plug wires in that cylinder?

Even check the tip on the plug to be sure it's tight where the wire snaps on to.

What was the last thing done to the bike?
